Aims

Asist Communities CIC aims to work towards creating suicide-safer communities in England by teaching a first aid model of suicide intervention. It also aims to:

	ensure Asist and any other related activities undertaken are widely available to all community members.
	challenge stigma and discrimination relating to suicide.
	develop networking and improved communication about suicide prevention within the local communities where we deliver Asist.
	work in partnership with other relevant agencies to address issues relating to suicide prevention, intervention and 'postvention'.
	To work with LivingWorks to provide 'Training for Trainers' opportunities to ensure the sustainability of the Asist programme.
